Asian platform is the best for cargo business because of its demographic cuttings, and Pakistan is the country, which is on the most suitable place, connecting all major countries. There is the only way of connecting the Indian-Afghanistan air cargo line up. And that is Cargo to Pakistan. India and Afghanistan are planning to set up an air cargo service to boost the trade.
According to a report, both countries say that their air cargo trade in undermined because they are having some tense political relations with the Pakistan which is the only connecting bone between these two countries.
There are some main industries on which Afghanistan is planning to boost and increase their trade with the other countries like the fruits industry and the carpet industry. Especially the hand carpets of Afghanistan are famous all across the world. There is a meeting between the Afghan President, Ashraf Ghani and Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi in the northern Indian city of Amritsar which has short distance from the borders of Pakistan.
The main agenda of their meeting is that the Air Cargo Service will aim to improve landlocked Afghanistan’s connectivity to key markets abroad and boost the growth prospects of Afghanistan.
As there are very sensitive relations between India-Pakistan, the Indian Officials have been steadfast that there cannot be any dialogue with Pakistan until it acts against militant groups operating from its soil. Pakistan’s capital, Islamabad has also denied the allegation and says New Delhi must hold talks on the future of Kashmir which is the greatest dispute at the center of nearly 70 years of hostility.
From the news of trading path, perhaps it is not confirmed yet, it is allowed to cargo a limited amount of goods overland through Pakistan Air into India. But the imports from India are not allowed along this Air Cargo route because of the same tense relations between India and Pakistan.
