World Cargo Alliance (WCA) is the major independent cargo and freight forwarders network in the world with 5741 offices globally spreaded in 760 cities of 191 countries. On the other hand, Etihad Airways from Abu Dhabi has been publically selected as the official cargo airline partner of the alliance for rapid and trustworthy air cargo services and it is the most evident purpose that the Global Cargo Conference 2015 was held in the house of Etihad Airways in Abu Dhabi.

Etihad Cargo and the most dominated IT services provider in the cargo business, Worldwide Information Network (WIN) have joined hands together to facilitate the cargo operations in the world, as a rising sign of both small and medium freight forwarders. Etihad cargo and WIN have teamed up to offer special rates to all the members of World Cargo Alliance (WCA) on shipment booking from WIN e-podium.

Members of this new service of WCA and Etihad Cargo’s Cargo Connect loyalty program will be able to take special rates for many routes, inside Etihad’s provisions when they use WIN e portal. WIN is special service which offers all accessibilities at one window like the electronic air ways bill (e- AWB) and prompt pricing of Etihad cargo routes.

More than 5,830 independent forwarders and 3,000 members of Etihad cargo are attached to this service. Membership for the Cargo Connect loyalty program is free. This program offers exclusive pricing to all WCA members and permitting customers to receive Etihad Guest Miles for all cargo which is transported through Etihad Airways. WCA has recently announced an annual global meeting in UAE. All registered members of WCA with Etihad Cargo will be able to work together. WCA members can also apply online for the benefits of the program. According to the transporters this online platform offers instant pricing for all online Etihad destinations.
