Massive transportation Cost Saving up to 50% with the new Direct Train and Freight Cargo Route

Another milestone and advancement of CPEC project is revealed by starting the direct train and freight cargo service ok Pakistan and China. Both countries have launched a direct rail and Sea freight service. The first operation was departure from Yunnan, an inland province in Southwest China.

It was loaded with 500 tons of commodities started its journey from Kunming which is the capital of Yunnan for Karachi.

What Did Representative of New Silk Road Yunnan say? 

When the cargo train started its way to Pakistan from China, the New Silk Road Yunnan representative said, “The route helps local business connect with the world market”. With this operation starting, the see freight will surely cut the logistics cost which includes that of the transport and 50% compared to past services.

Reviews of Karachi Chamber

Karachi Chamber of Commerce and industry has expressed the warm wishes and positive remarks on the opening of this new path initiated by CPEC project.

They had the reviews that this step would bring the boost in trade between the two countries. Moreover, the spokesmen of Karachi Chamber said that the route will enable Pakistan cargo and businessmen and traders to increase trade with China in a more convenient and faster way.

First Trade Activity Under CPEC

Before this, Pakistan and China kicked off the first trading operation in October under CPEC by shipping more than 100 Chinese containers which were arrived at Sust Port in Hunza. This operation was advanced after the clearance from Pakistan Customs and then the containers were further advanced to Gwadar Port.

This is just the beginning towards the mighty, progressive advancements for not only Pakistan Cargo industry, but also for the whole world. There are many more projects which are about to start and to enhance the business relations between Pakistan and China.
