Tianjin Explosions Effects the Lives of community and International Shipping at the port of Tianjin in China

The consequence of the dreadful blast that happened last week at the port in Tianjin, China.

Actually, what Happened at the waterfront in Tianjin, China?

Last week a catastrophic explosion with a severe intensity took place at the port in Tianjin, which vibrated the city and the port also. In this dreadful explosion over 100 people dead, more than 100 injured and dozens are still lost. The explosion was so severe that it brightens the sky at night as broad daylight and it takes 100s of lives, damaging property and disturb the running work at  the  5th largest port of China.

International trade is affected due to the dreadful incident at china’s 5th largest port in Tianjin. It puts a bad effect on the transporters who transport goods through the Tianjin port in China.

Dangerous Materials & Poisonous Chemicals Putting Lives in Danger

The initial cause of the blast is still unknown while it believes that the containers of hazardous material in the warehouse are the cause of the explosion. The warehouse is the facility of temporary storage of raw material at the port, from where the material is distributed elsewhere in the city or in the country. According to the city officials report a toxic chemical of sodium cyanide, which is very harmful for human lives have been found at two locations and is being cleaned up.

High levels of dangerous chemicals remain at the site. According to an official of the Ministry of Environmental Protection Tian Weiyong  said that the water test report shows the presence of sodium cyanide at the eight locations in Tianjin port, which rapidly kill the human beings.  He further said that the level of sodium cyanide at one location was more than the safety limit.

Shipping Returning to Normal at Tianjin Port?

The catastrophic explosion in the port disturbed the routine of shipping, but now the situation is something different and shipping is returning to regular. Cargo ships have started its process as a routine work of loading and unloading of freight at the Tianjin port terminal. The Tianjin port blast destroyed the many cargo containers, it was hurting for the container owners and a great financial loss. But there was not a full damage  from shipping across the board at Tianjin. Disturbance of freight operations varied, it depends on how near terminals were in the real place of the blast.
